IS THERE A ZOMBIE IN THE VATICAN?
The Vatican has emerged as an "unwitting relay source of spam traffic" in the latest "dirty dozen" report released by Sophos, which names and shames the countries generating the highest amounts of junk email.

Zombie Vatican
How funny, the Vatican is the new Spamzilla in the email world! But then, religion is one of the top ten producers of spam. I can't tell you how many religious websites send me email every day just for signing up on one site to do research. But it just shows the way things work today, even religion feels the need to spam people.

What's really amusing, is how quickly the article disclaims itself, here:
"the Vatican itself is not a member of the dirty dozen" and here: "Even though a number [location identifier] is one of the set assigned to Vatican city, it may not actually be right inside the holy city... some locations might even be "spoofed" to help cover the tracks of the original spammer or as a means of evading spam filters."
