Two weeks after he was bought for $1,000 at a pet store and then abandoned, a puppy named Parker is in foster care and will soon be up for adoption in San Diego. Ref. Source 7

What a terrible two weeks that poor puppy must have gone through! It saddens me to think what it must have gone through to get his broken leg...then he gets abandoned on top of that!

It's obviously somebody who buys what they want, when they want it and throw it out when finished with. Disgusting.
I hope he gets the new family setup that he deserves!

They paid $1000 for that pup? OK that was weird and then abandon him rather than try and sell him or even give him back to the pet shop? That's just weird.
