The entire soundtrack for the movie was done by the 'Dust Brothers', which is why they all have the same base type of beat. I did enjoy the music, which can only be explained as 'digital funk'. My favorite song is 'Stealing the Fat' which is the one they play while the Narrator and Tyler are, guess what, stealing fat from the Lipo clinic. Do you have any favorites from the movie, even if you don't know what the name of the song is? Maybe you can describe the scene where it is played. I also liked the slow song they played when Tyler and the Narrator let the car move on its own without steering it.
Ok, I'm gonna show you just how addicted I am to this forum. Male, this has been sitting with no reply since God gave Moses the ten commandments. So I went out and downloaded the cd to listen to it so I could reply. I'm not a huge fan of this style but I did like `stealing the fat` and `chemical burn`. I assume thats the song played during the time when tyler burnt himself with a chemical, I believe it was called lye. I thought `space monkeys` was alright, but like I said, this isn't my cup of tea. All in all, I'm glad I downloaded it, but I wouldn't buy it unless you are into techno, electronica, or a mixture of the two with funk. Alright, I have done my duty to the community by once again going out of my way to become informed so that you, the amazing community that I love, can hear my tiny opinion on anything and everything whether you like it or not!
Thanks konquererz! I knew someone would reply to it eventually. I am glad you liked some of the songs. I agree it is an acquired taste, but the soundtrack is fitting for the theme of the movie, which is chaos. Thanks for the review!

Comments: What is the song/beat that starts after Tyler and the narrator start hitting each other for the first time, outside of the bar they were drinking in?
