'WARRIOR' GENE CLAIM SLAMMED BY MAORI
Claims Maori carry a "warrior" gene that makes them more prone to violence, criminal acts and risky behaviour have been slammed as dangerous and inflammatory by Maori leaders.

Gene Warrior The
It really frustrates me when people claim a genetic reason for a particular behavior. Even if the claim turns out to be true, doesn't that just make it more likely that people with the problem will simply stop trying to resist the bad behavior? Such I the case here. Will not saying that a criminal is just predisposed to violence because of genetics give him a way to justify his crimes? People have a mind and still must make a choice. Don't take that power or responsibility away from people.
