Sometimes I wonder if the people that go to prison in the US are truly in prison or in a hotel. Why do I say that? All the facilities they have! Imagine earning a degree in prison, or using the net, etc. Do you think people who serve time should be allowed access in this way?

I think that people in prison should have the opportunity to get a G.E.D. or further their studies in some kind of field of work, in the event of parole or early release for good behavior.  That way, they may have a chance of bettering themselves with a better job instead of still living a life of crime.  

But I don't think that they should have access to the net.  You can find out just about anything on anyone for the right price on the net.  So, why would they allow the prisoners to get any kind of access to this information?  Or to be in contact with other people on the outside via the net?  Especially in the case of this woman who is looking for web pen pals.  She killed her children, so why should she get any priviledges of having pen pals or internet access?  I mean, I thought that they sent criminals to prison to keep them away from the general public.  I don't think that they had internet access in mind for rehabilitating criminals.  Especially using the net for purposes of finding pen pals or love interests.

It's sickening!!! internet access? well, they don't actually have internet access. What the web site does  is receive the e-mails from people for them (the prisoners)  and then they give the mail addresses to them. But not, they cannot use the internet! Thanks goodness! can you imagine using the internet on a jail? : Anyhow, this woman Susan Smith put an ad on the web for penpals, she recieved so far more than 6,000 letters!!!!!!!!!! : she described herself in the ad as a 'loving, caring and kind-hearted person' looking for penpals...hmmmm I'm wonder if what she's looking for is really penpals because three years ago two prisoner officers were suspended after being caught having sex with her. :

I believe that Susan smith is a very warm and loving person. I also believe that I am the king of the world at times that does not mean it is true. I wonder how many people actually believe that she is kind hearted. I wonder what they would think if someone sent them a e-mail with a description of what she did to her own children. I think that will blow the loving part right out of the water.

I also believe that too many prisoners have it too easy. We need to put them on hard beds, in tents and make it miserable so they do not want to go back to prison. All this cozy motel stuff should be given to the homeless.
