Divers inspecting the wreckage of AirAsia Flight 8501 have located the jet's data recorders, also known as "Black boxes," Agence France-Presse, Bloomberg News and other media reported, citing Indonesian transport ministry officials. The divers could not retrieve the recorders because they were stuck in the wreckage but will attempt to recover them on Monday, reports said. Ref. USAToday
Divers retrieve second black box from AirAsia crash
Both the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder from the wreckage of AirAsia Flight 8501 have now been recovered, Reuters and the BBC report.
