Halo Comic

As most people know, even those that are not gamers Halo and Halo 2 are very popular. Starting with Halo 1 which came out in 2001 is now one of the biggest games in the industry. Halo has spawned not only a sequel but also books, action figures/collectibles, a possible halo movie, and much more. Now there will be a Halo comic book. I picked up the preview from a comic book store and it was actually funny. I don't know if this will be a representation of the actual comic but I am hoping it is an action comic and not a funny one. I just want the comic to stay true to the Halo roots, but I will probably buy it anyway. Has anyone else read or heard about this and what are your thoughts?

Comic Halo

I have seen the halo comics and the halo books. The books are just retread extensions of the comics. The comics are just retread extensions of the game story line. So if you like the game, you will like the comics as well, they get rather intense.

If they ever make a movie, I think it has potential if they can keep the graphics and intensity high. Much like Doom and Resident Evil, I believe that Halo has that kind of pull with the audiences that can bring in the young and gamer crowd.
