Yes he violated his probation so he is now in jail. It is a different world when you are in adult court than juvenile court. I hope he sits there a few more years. Maybe he will learn something.

Yes, I don't know what affluenza is… it should not exist. In fact, it should be the exact opposite in this world. Those who are most affluent should feel a need to be more responsible and help those less lucky. Instead, this kid chose (Yes, he chose) to be completely irresponsible and literally almost got away with murder. I hope he learns from his mistakes in jail, but I doubt it.

Yeah he has not learned anything yet. I doubt that he will learn anytime soon. Maybe a school of some hard knocks may help him some but who knows.

Yeah, I just think mixing him with hardened criminals will just end up making him worse, and more of a burden on society. I wish we did a better job educating and training inmates in this country. I think that would reduce our recidivism rate.

We have given our inmates all the tools they could want to better themselves but as the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water but you can not make them drink" says a lot. I think the young man does not care and he knows he will go back to the lap of luxury as soon as he released.
