Pilots Columbia District
U.S. Capitol Police say they detained a pilot who landed a single-occupant gyrocopter on a lawn near the Capitol building in Washington.
A friend of the pilot tells CNN that there was nothing dangerous on the small aircraft and that the flight was meant to send a message to Congress about campaign finance reform. Ref. CNN
