I am rooting for Zelenskyy, hoping that Ukraine is able to continue to withstand and defend itself against Russia. That Putin is not able to defeat the nation and force it to join Russia, that this invasion fails in taking away the freedom and independance of the Ukrainian people.

I am suspicous of what Mitch McConnell and Republican senators are doing making an unannounce visit to Kyiv so as to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. As well if they are even still there. I cannot trust the GOP's intentions, if they are simply showing their support or if they have other motivations.
