Basketball British

We follow the basketball here in the Uk as a family.We used to be season ticket holders for the Manchester Giants, and never missed a game.Sadly though, we watched them rise to the top, and then to be sold off, but the investors pulled out and the club collapsed. This was so sad, as they had strived to be top, and then lost everything.
Jon Amechi, American player, has invested thousands to start his own centre up, to encourage basketball once more in Manchester, but so far the Manchester Magic haven't made it into the BBL.

we now live in between the Sheffield sharks and the Chester Jets, so we tend to watch their games mostly, but not as much as we used to.

Our favorite players from when we supported the Manchester Giants are Tony Holley, who now plays for Leicester riders, I even got to meet him at our local cinema, he's a great guy.
Ronnie Baker now plays for Brighton Bears, he is only small in height and runs like a whippet, and Tony Dorsey, I think he has gone to play for Oostende in Belgium, so haven't seen him in game action for a while.
Fantastic game, I hope one day that we'll have a team more local to home.
