Judge Confirms Oklahoma Can Cut Planned Parenthood Funding

A federal judge ruled on Monday that the state of Oklahoma has the right to cut taxpayer funding to the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The abortion giant sued the state of Oklahoma after state officials yanked taxpayer funds it received through a taxpayer-funded program that provides food for low income women and children.

In October, Oklahoma officials dropped the abortion giant so it could steer tax dollars to legitimate agencies helping women and children in need. Ref. Source 8

The U.S. Supreme Court recently accepted a case Cline v. Oklahoma Coalition for Reproductive Justice, challenging Oklahoma's regulation of the abortion drug Mifeprex commonly known as mifepristone, RU-486, or The Abortion Pill.

The case is an appeal by the state of Oklahoma from a ruling by its Supreme Court striking down a 2011 law that requires prescribing physicians to follow the FDA's protocol for administering the Mifeprex abortion pill regimen using a combination of two drugs; mifepristone and misoprostol. Oklahoma Senate Passes Bill to Ban Dismemberment Abortions Tearing Babies Limb From Limb

The Oklahoma state Senate has approved a groundbreaking pro-life bill, HB 1721, that would ban dismemberment abortions that tear babies limb from limb. Abortion practitioners would face up to two years in prison under the legislation as well as a $10,000 fine. Ref. Source 6

The Oklahoma Legislature has passed a bill that would criminalize abortion procedures in the state.

According to the language of the bill, anyone found to have performed an abortion -- except in instances to save the life of the mother -- can be found guilty of a felony and receive up to three years in prison.

Gov. Mary Fallin has not said whether she will sign the bill. Ref. CNN.
