Mishka Introduction

Hi all,

I have been offered the opportinity to work in Trinidad for a year and was considering moving there with my wife. I admit to being rather concerned about the level of crime there, is it realy that bad ? What advise do you have for us if we came, is it posible to enjoy the island or would it very restrictive. Would normal common sense be enough or is it on a different level.

I would appreciate any advise you can give.
