CHINA SEEKS TO CURB 'UNHEALTHY' KARAOKE MUSIC
China's long arm of the law is set to stretch into its popular karaoke parlours, under a pilot project aimed at preventing patrons from singing songs the government deems "unhealthy."

Chinese culture is so different from what I've experienced, here in USA, that it's hard to imagine what it's like. The only thought that comes to mind is that this is a whole lot of listening for someone to do. Can you imagine censoring every song before it hits the karaoke clubs?

I mean, how many people preached anarchy after listening to the Sex Pistols?
There are also many people in my school who listen to rap, (I don't), and I haven't seen any shootouts nearby.
