Connecticut Flag
A general Thread about the state Flag of Connecticut. What do you like / not like about the Connecticut Flag? Do you feel the Flag of Connecticut best represnts the citizenry?
As you can see, the flag shows 3 grapevines that represents 3 old settlements in Connecticut which are Hartford, Windsor and Wethersfield. It was adopted in September 9, 1897 and it contains the state motto "Qui Transtulit Sustinet" - which is the latin saying for "He who transplanted still sustains".
