Flag Laos

The flag of Laos was adopted in December 2, 1975. Red represent the bloodshed in the country's fight for independence. Blue stands for wealth and prosperity and white symbolizes unity and justice. The white circle symbolizes the full moon over the blue Mekong River, which runs through and alongside the majority of Laos.
