Transgender cop's uniform keeps her out of event
San Diego’s first transgender police officer was kept out of an event at the San Diego LGBT Community Center in Hillcrest last week because she was wearing her uniform and was told people in attendance might be uncomfortable. Ref. Source 3q.

I think that is just plain ridiculous. I doubt many people have that big of an issue with transgender people especially at a LGBT event. It is my believe that she may have been welcomed and those who may have been uncomfortable maybe should not have been there or where they for a completely different reason.
