California's Heat Wave
HEAT WAVE KILLING PEOPLE, CATTLE
Corpses piled up at the morgue Thursday, and aid workers went door-to-door, checking in on elderly people in hopes of keeping the death toll from California's 12-day heat wave from rising.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 to 200 people (depending on the source) have died in the heat. Thankfully, the past two days have been much cooler, cloudy, and some rain. Delightful, after the sweltering heat!
