Are Blogs Dying?

The hype that surrounded the blogging world some years ago is slowly dying in my opinion. People do read blog today but they aren't as popular as they used to be. Nowadays if you say you have a blog people will be "Okay" And move on. Years ago it will "Wow, let me go look and subscribe." There is so much emphasis on popular social media now that blogs don't even matter anymore. What do you think, are blogs slowly dying?

They aren't as popular but they aren't dying. I see new blogs being opened all the time and blogs that focus on something very specific are becoming even more popular.

Blogs are not dying they are getting more and more popular everyday the trick is they are called by different names and come already packaged through certain social media.

I think blogs will always have a following and if you're a celebrity then even more so but the only really big blogs are the ones that have sponsors.

I don't feel like blogs are dying they just aren't as popular as they once were although there are some that are particularly hot depending on your interest. If you're already famous then your blog will be too.
