Woman Strangles Newborn Son and Watched Him Die, Tosses Him in Trash
In a brutal act of infanticide, a Texas woman strangled her newborn son to death and threw him in the trash.
Nidia Alvarado, 25, has been arrested on charges of murder and she told local police she 'strangled the baby and watched him die," according to a news report. Official say the body of the less than one-week-old infant boy was found stuffed in a duffel bag on the intake conveyor belt of a recycling center in San Antonio, Texas just a couple days before Christmas.
