City York New Alligators

One of America's most beloved urban legends, alligators in the sewer. I always loved this legend, and when I was younger, I loved the movies made regarding it call "Alligator". But alas, not all legends have their basis in some sort of fact. I can't find a shred of anything that shows that that this has any basis in reality, it appears to be completely legend.
