Set on the streets of 17th-century Paris where law and order is more an idea than reality, the series follows Musketeers Athos, Aramis and Porthos who are far more than King Louis XIII's personal bodyguards, but ultimately stand resolutely for social justice: for honour, for valour, for love and for the thrill of it.
Season 1, Episode 8 - "The Challenge" - The Musketeers have to escourt Labarge, who is under arrest for the murder of two other Musketeers, to Paris. The Red Guards are not happy with the Musketeers" handling of him and start a vicious fight between the two regiments.
Season 1, Episode 9 - "Knight Takes Queen" - Queen Anne's life is put in danger. Louis dines with a wealthy German. The Musketeers and Anne are forced to seek refuge in Paris and are helped out by some Nuns. Aramis has to face up to his past.
Season 1, Episode 10 - "Musketeers Don't Die Easily" - A rift forms between the band of musketeers threatening to split them up. Athos manages to take Milady hostage, surprising the musketeers. Athos isn't impressed when he learns about d"Artagnan and Milady's friendship, moreso when he has to ask for her help. The Cardinal is scared about what the Musketeers know and tells Milady she has to kill them.
Season 2, Episode 5 - "The Return" - Athos must confront his past to protect the people he left behind.
Season 2, Episode 6 - "Through A Glass Darkly" - Renowned astronomer Marmion gathers the royal household to his impressive observatory in a transformed old fort to watch a solar eclipse. The Musketeers and Rochefort escort them but could never have predicted the twist in fate that ensues and the impossible choices that must be made. Who is Marmion really and what is his game? The Musketeers are forced into the fight of their lives with dramatic consequences. Will they accept Milady's help despite their mistrust of her? It might be their only chance to save the king, queen and themselves.
