Beware: Sony Batteries
SAFETY OFFICIALS REVIEWING SONY BATTERIES
US consumer safety officials said on Tuesday they are reviewing all Sony-made lithium-ion batteries in laptop computers for fire hazards after Dell announced the largest electronics recall in the United States.

Batteries Sony Beware
Yes, we got the notice today at work to check our serial number on our batteries. Most Dell Laptops have the sony lithium batteries in them. I haven't checked mine, but I guess I will know if my laptop catches on fire! 
The funny part is that we have to send our battery in and they will inter-office mail us another battery. So what do we do in the mean time, use no battery? Sigh, I guess it needs to be replaced, don't want to burn up on account of my laptop.
