Is it likely that citizens of Trinidad & Tobago will adopt Robots to do most future tasks in manufacturing, production and services?

Usually I hear a lot of people who wanted to become an Engineer but in terms of fixing stuff like cars or smaller devices, but not really advanced robotic ones. However I do believe that at some point this topic might be popular and might hopefully help the islands in terms of better technology.
