What a silly thing for the government to argue! Marijuana has never caused the death of anyone, yet they have no problem making it illegal. Mercury has the proven ability to kill people, we know it is a poison, and they are concerned with driving it underground? Are you kidding me? Maybe they should apply that logic to drugs instead of proven killers like mercury!
Yes, I agree that it is not smart to let this harmful substance be legal. That is especially in view of the fact that those within the vicinity are in danger of inhaling the toxic fumes.
