GUILTY PLEA EXPECTED FROM GOP'S NEY

Republican Rep. Bob Ney of Ohio has agreed to plead guilty to a pair of charges as part of a deal with the Justice Department in which he will cooperate with its ongoing influence peddling investigation, two sources with knowledge of the investigation told CNN.

What bothers me most about all this is that while it is exposing the vast system of bribes taken by Republicans via Jack Abramhoff, most republicans are still trying to justify it. They are saying that they Democrats are just using this to break down the republicans in an election year and that most of it is made up. Ney pled guilty, he did it, he accepted bribes and is a corrupt politician in the back pocket of a lobbyist! There is nothing left to argue about it now. Its not a democrat conspiracy people, the republican party has had control of the house, senate, presidency, and judicial supreme court for over six years, and this is what they have done with it. They have shown that they as a group are corrupt and subject to bribery! The republican party has failed this country miserably, I'm sorry I ever voted for any of them! Bob Ney is just the newest one to go down, its shameful!
