Biography and Autobiography
An autobiography is written by oneself. Its your life story in your words. An autobiography is the history of your life as told by you. A biography is your story, your history, told by someone else. Thus you can see books that are the unauthorized biographies of someone famous. Biographies do not always contain events from the person it is about that are entirely true. But a biography can be written using your story. Ty Cobb had someone else write his life story after he gave it to him. It was still a biography, but it was dictated by Ty Cobb himself. But since he didn't write it himself, it was not an autobiography.
