Autism Dads Older

I heard this on the news this morning, it is reckoned that fathers over the age of 40, are 6 times more likely than fathers under the age of 40, of fathering a child with Autism.
They are actually saying that a man of any age can father a child with Autism, but that tests results are highlighting the fact that there are far more cases showing up of Autism where the Father is over the age of 40.
If this is the case, it has maybe given the researchers a clue along the way that might one day unlock the answer to why Autism happens, and may help them find a treatment for it. I hope so.
