CHILD ABUSE SWAMPS POLICE
Hundreds of child abuse cases are languishing unallocated nationwide, with swamped detectives unable to cope with the increasing workload.

Police Swamps Abuse Child
Its not the issue of cops not being able to get to these cases, its the issue that there are so many abused children that they are flooding the case load. That is possibly the most dismal thing I have ever heard. How can anyone abuse a child? Yet there are so many children being abused that the NZ police cannot even keep up with the cases, its more terrible than the raising of violent crime in my opinion.
