GROWING MEMBERSHIP SPURS CHURCH EXPANSION

FLINT, Michigan - With membership increasing, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has started a 3,000-square-foot addition and renovation project on the local meetinghouse. Bishop Carl Pangerl said membership in the Flint Ward, one of the wards that uses the building, is growing by about 10 percent a year.
