All Mormon missionaries safe after Ecuador quake, LDS leaders still assessing other impact

SALT LAKE CITY — Hundreds of Mormon missionaries in Ecuador are safe and accounted for after a devastating magnitude-7.8 earthquake on Saturday night, a church representative said Sunday morning.

Ecuador is a strong country, they will recover from this and the church will be there to support them. I'm glad to know none of our missionaries were harmed but what about the local membership?
