Calm Herbs

Yes, I believe that natural products such as these can help relax, calm and get rid off stress.

I won't linger on my views, because they probably belong to the religious board, but summed up quickly, I don't believe that God would leave us here on earth without the method to heal ourselves naturally and a cure out there from natural extract for illness...some just haven't been discovered yet.

I know that sounds 'coo koo' to some people, but I can't help what I believe in laugh.gif

I would far rather go down the 'natural' route as opposed to 'chemical drug' route.

I haven't heard of some of thes cures, mainly because I haven't looked into it fully, but I know for sure that Lavender is a relaxant, I'd have no hesitation in using lavender oil or even a lavender bag under the pillow to enable sleep.

Lemon balm, we grow, and put in the bath, it's very relaxing and works also.

St John's wort, I haven't personally used, but I know that it's recommended for a few things and is a good seller.

I don't know about wild lettuce, but I was told that 'ordinary' lettuce eaten before sleep helps induce a good nights sleep.

Quite a lot of the things mentioned on your list are inexpensive, and quite a few could be home grown, such as the lavender, lettuce, and lemon balm.
As they are natural healthy products, I wouldn't have a problem going down this route, I think it's a far safer bet!

Herbs To Calm Health & Special Psychology

Oh yes, I believe herbs can help. I am surprised that in that list they do not have justicia pectoralis (also known as Tilo). We use it in Argentina a lot and we drink it as a tea and has a vanilla smell. It's a great calming herb.
