Eating a higher-protein diet seems to boost levels of a hunger-fighting hormone, British scientists have found.

That makes sense to me, foods that contain protein are eggs, peanut butter, nuts, and meat. All these things help stave off hunger for longer periods of time than vegetables and fruits and even pasta. Its funny how sometimes we will instinctively know something before science catches up to us and shows us our gut feeling was right. Carbs give you long term energy, protein fights the hunger, my grandmother always said that. She was before her time!
