Here is some information about Keith Ellison:

He has an extremely unsavory background, including ties to the extremely racist, radical Nation of Islam. He has protested, supported, and sought release of several convicted cop-killers. His strongest support comes from CAIR, which is, in my opinion, the biggest apologist and supporter for Islamofascist terrorism in the United States.
This guy deserves a LOT of investigation. He is going to win, and become a Congressman, without doubt. He will represent one of the most liberal Democratic districts, Minneapolis and the close western suburbs. But I don't think he will represent them well.
I suggest that you go to Power Line (through the link above) and do a quick search on his name. You will be amazed at the number of articles that come up.

Rep. Keith Ellison on Tea Party Anti-Muslim Bigotry, US-backed Assassinations in Yemen, and the Firing of Juan Williams
A prominent leader of the Tea Party movement recently said he was working to unseat Minnesota Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison in part because he is a Muslim. Judson Phillips, the founder of the Tea Party Nation, urged Minnesota voters to elect Ellison's independent challenger, Lynn Torgerson, on Tuesday. "A majority of Tea Party members, I suspect, are not fans of Islam," Phillips said. Rep. Ellison, the first Muslim congressman, responds to these comments and ongoing attacks against Muslim and Arab communities. Ref. Source 3
Keith Ellison On Muslim Attacks
In a speech on the House floor this morning, Ellison expressed his outrage at the attack in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three Americans on his diplomatic staff.
He also blasted an anti-Islam video that seemed to provoke demonstrators at the U.S. Embassy in Egypt, calling the film "Amateurish and stupid." Ref. Source 7
