Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

The problem with Riddick was the setting vs the technology. You have bounty hunters with a bunch of ships yet they need a robotic arm to scan and use vehicles like motorbikes? We have even better technology now that can find someone without simply looking in the dark, that was just weird. The story line was crappy and predictable and Riddick was like a super Rambo. This Riddick definitely was not as good as the first two.

That move Riddick did with the blade using his foot alone was too hard to swallow, in fact most of the movie was like that.

When you have one good movie they should stay with that. Follow on movies rarely get any better than the original.
