How much weight does choosing a future mate that can have children (male or female as it takes two) have on selecting your future spouse? Suppose you can know beforehand, will you want to take tests early in courtship?

Oh yeah it means a lot to me. One day I hope to be a mother you know what am I saying? So definetely is an issue for me but again if I find the right guy we can always adopt.
