New research revealing when camels were domesticated by humans shows that many depictions of camels in scripture may be off by hundreds of years. Anachronisms Literary Bible Camels Find Archaeology

The notion that Moses would have exaggerated the importance of Abraham through the use of literary Anachronisms would be totally out of character for this humble servant of God.
1) The candor of Bible Penmen even recording their own short comings would not allow for their exaggerating their own importance or that of others.
2) Jehovah's evident disapproval of his servants inflating their own self importance e.g. Miriam ,and An"¢a"¢ni′as & Sap"¢phi′ra his wife, (Numbers 12:6-16; Act's 5:1-10) Jehovah God wants use to view others as they actually are, the good along with their shortcomings.
