Private Member Boards Read Me First

This section of the Community is different and distinct from all the other Boards for TWO main reasons:

1. The Boards in this section are run and managed by Upgraded Members

2. They set their own rules, including who can look and who can participate

Q. How do I get to run your own Board?
A. Become a Diamond Member or donate US$200 upfront (Check Comparison Page for up to date donation required).

Q. What is the benefit of having my own Private Board?
A. Many really, you get to dictate how it will be run, what can be said or Discussed and more especially, our Community can see it! You can see a full list in Board Owner Options Thread.

Q. I notice that there are Threads here that exist in other Boards within the Community, isn't that a repeat?
A. That is up to the Board owner, it is their Board so if they want to talk about a subject already Discussed in the Community then it is up to them.

Q. Can I copy content from the Community to be used in my own Boards?
A. No, you should not copy anything within the Community to be used in your own Private Board.

Q. What are some of the draw backs of Posting in a Member Board?
A. You get no FP for posting in a Private Board. The reason for that is the Boards are not regulated by our system, so therefore do not fall under our system rewards.

Q. Do we go up in post count within Private Boards?
A. No, for the same reason above.

Q. Can I have a Teeny Bopper Board?
A. Although you can, the system still has certain things in place that you will not be able to escape such as: one smiley, a minimum number of words per Post and of course you still cannot post anything illegal or pornographic.

Q. So I can spell bad? I do not have to worry about my Posts being edited?
A. Yes, you can spell bad, but that depends on the Board Owner, they will each have their own 'Read Me First' Thread in which they will dictate their own rules of what can be done.

Q. So Private Boards are like little Communities?
A. In a way yes, a Board Owner can choose a setup and style that is completely different from the rest of the Community, but they get to share the Membership.

Q. How will I know when I am on a Private Board or a regular Community Board?
A. At the Top of the Board will give you a message saying that you are on a 'Private Board'.
