Singing, Modeling Or Academics
Name: Hollaria
Comments: I'm an average singer, average at school but really gorgeous. I know that sounds prideful but I have won beauty pageants and been featured in a couple of teen magazines. My main question is where do I go with it? I really love singing but I'm not gifted. I'm just a C-B average student but for modeling I really excel. You might think I would chose modeling, but there are many gorgeous girls out there too and I don't know if I can compete.
Well, modeling isn't about being gorgeous (otherwise your career will be short or static). Modeling is about knowing how to walk and present yourself. You can be this amazing pretty girl and don't know how to show the clothes then you're out.
I would advise you to get serious about your studies as this is a guarantee should your modeling not pan out. Give yourself a timetable and set a plan for your modeling career. If it doesnt work according to your schedule, drop it and fall back on your brain. Being pretty and smart is also a benefit... The odds are not in your favor which is why you need to set a plan. There are many pagent winners that do not go on to be well compensated models. Additionally, a models career is short. At some point, and a lot sooner than if you have an education, you will be unemployable as a model. I know that seems like light years away, but when it hits you will wish you had studied harder.
I would have loved to of seen a pic! Anyway, why not do all rather than concentrate on one. I think if you try them all you might spark something you did not see before or someone may take notice in you and help you achieve more than you thought. Just watch out for predators!
