My late grandmother had a stroke when I was around 10 years old. She did not have feeling in her left side for quite some time but it did return. She never could steady herself well after that but she always gave it her best effort. My dad had moved her in with us so that my mother could help her with the daily activities that she had a difficult time doing herself.
