EagleHawk Introduction

Hello to All,

I am an adult male, who has had a lot of experience with different things and interests in life. I can hold an intelligent conversation on quite a few topics, but do not claim to be an expert in most, or THE EXPERT in any of them. In other words, I am not a know-it-all, and dislike trying to talk to one. I respect other's beliefs and opinions and expect them to respect mine. I do not respect hate, though. Hate harms the person who is hating, far more than the object of the negativity.

I like to learn about new things and appreciate new knowledge. I am currently finishing Microsoft Certification in PC programming and System Design methodology. The Microsoft Certified Systems Developer (MCSD) program. I have a passion for photography and am working on digital and learning digital processing. I was very, very good with film B&W in general and Scenic Nature shots in color. I have shot a little fashion in the past as well.

I am very interested in my spiritual life, but know that it has to be balanced. A very wise person once told me that we have to balance the five aspects of ourselves; Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, Physical and Material. I have taken his message to heart. I definitely believe in Reincarnation, and have seen nothing to change this belief since I started having past life flashbacks when I was eight or nine. The reasoning behind Reincarnation makes good sense to me, but I do not expect others to necessarily agree with me, just to accept that I have my beliefs and understand my reasons, if they ask.

I do not consider myself creative, but I do appreciate fine art and fine craftsmanship. I have seen Quilts that are outstanding, as well as fine paintings. I do have a special interest in SouthWestern (US) Art and (US) Indian Culture and pre-columbian culture. I am also interested in world history in general and science in general. New discoveries thrill me.

I do have a good understanding of people and their motivations. I am not into control or head games or doing things that will harm others. Sometimes Tough Love is necessary, though.

I trust that I have given a good enough introduction for now. I do have other interests, such as my love of music that I have not mentioned. If this group is as good as my friend told me it was, I am glad to be here.

Welcome, I do hope that you will be consistent in your contribution, or in other words... participate and be active in the Discussions we have here. Just go to the Site Map, select a Board and fire away at the many Topics already available. If you have questions then this Thread is the place to place such, but we do have a very comprehensive FAQ Board.

Thanks for the information JB. I appreciate it. I am a jump in type, if a subject interests me, so that is not a problem. I went in to edit my membership to put a picture as my avatar, and didn't see anything to upload photos. What did I miss?

We have a points system. As you post you get something called, "Forum Points", you need 30 of those to purchase an upload for your pic at the Forum Shop. Right now you are using the Plain Skin, I suggest you try Executive or one of the others to see the full features of the Community.
