The Sims seems to be a hit with my boys. The idea that you can control everyday life is appealing, isn't it? I've started them off on the classic version and of course they are not satisfied with the amount of cash you get so here is a cheat I found:

First enter this in your keyboard at the same time:

Then when the field prompt pops-up you enter: klapaucius;:

This will immediately get a message saying "No such cheat" But just press [Enter] and keep holding it and see the money flow in..

The first Sims was so addicting when it first came out and what was even more addicting was all the addons you could buy for it.
