Fallen Arch

Fallen Arch

This is something I was born with, and unlike most fallen arches where the final out come is just flat feet, I had to worst. The muscles around the foot that normally pull up the arch are not there at all. During my early years it was quite an ordeal taking part in sports. Later in life I got used to it and other muscles in my foot and calf have compensated for it.

I also have fallen arches, but not so bad as yours sound, JB. My feet hurt quite easily if I have to stand for long periods of time or walk around all day. I buy shoes with really good support to help out.

Fallen Arch Health & Special Psychology

I have never found adequate shoes for my condition so I wear strong arches (made out of hard plastic) in my shoes, they help maintain the proper position that my feet should be in.

Arch Fallen

My oldest son has flat feet, particulary the left one. He cannot walk or jump or do sports for long periods of time, he usually does not complain when doing it but at night while sleeping. sad.gif
