Whats your review for the 2006 Budget laid out by the Prime Minister Patrick Manning?

Budget Mannings
The budget was, as usual very long and detailed. From what I've read so far, the economists seem to think it's excellent, provided the promises are kept.
Personally - I applaud his raising the tax on cigarettes and alcohols. It's just one more step in the right direction, since making it a bit more expensive puts it that much more out of the range of younger children's pockets.
If it were up to me though, the next step would be banning cigarette smoking in public places... but I'm no politician.
