Police are investigating a kidnapping and robbery that happened at a South Columbus gas station. Kyle Dotson said he stopped at the Shell gas station in the 2400 blocks of Lockbourne Road to fill up his gas tank on the way to church on Sunday. Yes you should always be aware of your surroundings and the people around you. You never know when someone is going to try something that could change your day. This guy should never have rolled down the window to allow a person to reach in and open the door. A person can hear you just fine through a window of a car. Best think in a situation like this is to simply drive off unless they actually do show a gun.
I agree with KNtoran. Better risk to be impolite rather than end up in a risky situation. The protagonist of this story was still lucky: he just had to give some money after all. But nowadays, you never know how things can go. Somebody can kill you for no reason. That's one of the things I love of the Country I live in now: things like that are extremely rare, people is more honest here than in our countries.
