There are several activists in T&T, there is one for human rights, anti-racism, government action in terms of meeting the people's satisfaction through housing, land, resources, etc. Unfortunately it can be quite hard for any activists, even the big ones to influence the government to do it due to some 'unknown' issues or just plain flat out corruption, same goes with making a change in some communities.
