Multiple people have been shot at a Sikh temple in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. People are believed to be trapped in the temple, and at least one gunman may be inside, a city official said. "As far as I know, it is still an active situation," Alderman Dan Jakubczyk told CNN.

The shooting took place at 10.30am on Sunday at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin as families arrived to pray. At least seven people were killed - including the gunman - and as many as 30 people injured. Three men were being treated in hospital for life-threatening injuries.
