The Lazy Race - Page 3

It was stated that

QUOTE
Hispanics are generally poorer because most of them came up from the south with nothing, so they had nothing when they got here
but this is only half the story. Since most of present Hispanics are indigena or mestizo from Mexico or Central America, the value is not poverty but a change from an agricultural and rural economy to a modern industrial complex. Their countries of origin do not have the level or quality of life to support them so they go elsewhere where these needs are met. This happen to be USA, the land of opportunity and it seems that their countries rely on them for foreign exchange!
These people are hardworking

It was also said that
QUOTE
Many blacks are poor due to their heritage
but this is an unqualified staement. The heritage you describe is a false one. Blacks were not only forbidden from having certain jobs, they were denied them! If that did not work, laws were passed to prevent them from having access to those jobs!
Even though blacks were in USA longer than most other citizens, others took it upon themselves to pass laws that stated blacks were not citizens even to the extent that blacks were 3/8 of a white man!

That was the reality of the day so to blame it on "their heritage" is bogus! It is not so.

Name: SPICHATR

Comments: All "spics" are lzay and only have criminal intention. It may be ripping off the welfare system or robbing a store. They are all too lazy to work for a living.

That last comment was extremely full of hatred and I am not surprised they posted anonymously. It is a sad that someone would take a thread and use it for their own agenda and use racial slurs. I happen to know a lot of mexicans that were poor but worked hard for what they had. There is always someone in every race that excels and those that are lazy.

Yes it is sad to see such a negative view on any race. I happen to know some blacks and hispanics whop are very hard workers and are living just as well as I am if not better. I think it is not your race but how your brought up that helps you get a better life or a worse life than your parents have or had.

There is a lot of educational avenues for someone who is poor to get themselves the help to be more productive. Hopefully they try that way instead of getting and education from in prison. When I say they I mean anyone of any color or background who thinks there is no way up.

Race Lazy The

Every race has their fair share of layabouts. I grew up I knew almost as many on multi generational welfare as I did hard workers. They were mostly German, Dutch, English and Scottish background. Sorry we had no none Caucasians till I was 16 then a Jamaican family bought the Nursing home in a nearby village.

Native reservations are good example of this. One reservation every one is working doing tourism crafts working and bring loads of money back to the reserves. The next one a few hours away seems to be swamped with drunkards. No one race is lazier then the next.

Only Mexicans I knew growing up cam to pick apples and they put most people to shame with their steady fast pace. They did not bruise the fruit either they took great pride in their work. I figure they are not a over all representative of the nation as they men had the drive to get from there home to here just to make enough money to feed their families fro the balance of the year. I am sure they have their layabout also.
