A Massachusetts judge found Michelle Carter, 20, guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the 2014 death of her boyfriend, who poisoned himself by inhaling carbon monoxide in his pickup truck.
Prosecutors had said she sent Conrad Roy III, 18, numerous text messages urging him to commit suicide.
The ruling could set legal precedent for whether it's a crime to tell someone to commit suicide. It may also spur lawmakers to codify such behavior as criminal. Ref. CNN.
How can she not think she was responsible? I can't understand some people's brains! She is obviously delusional and in need of solitary confinement for a very long time.

In 2014, Michelle Carter, then 17, urged her 18-year-old boyfriend, Conrad Roy III, in a text message to "Get back in" a truck filling with carbon monoxide when he got momentarily scared. She was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in June. Ref. USAToday.
The stain on her record will make it really difficult for her to form any kind of relationship, get a job or any positive position anywhere because she will always be known as the girl that insisted her depressed boyfriend should kill himself when she had the chance to stop it.
