My favorite movie of all time is "The Breakfast Club". It was made in 1985 and stars Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, and Ally Sheedy. In the movie, five characters from different social backgrounds were forced to spend a Saturday in detention together. The actors, in my opinion, did an excellent job and the movie kept me entertained the whole way through. The principal, played by Paul Gleason was an undeniably funny character. Although I loved the entire movie, my favorite part has to be when Claire (Molly Ringwald) gives Allison (Ally Sheedy) a make-over. The look on Andrew's (Emilio Estevez) face is great.
Something else I really love about this movie is that no matter how many years go by, it can stand the test of time. Now, I would love to hear other opinions.
Ah yes, the Breakfast Club, one of the classics from my childhood! I loved it back then and love it still today. To me its right up there with Real Genius and Weird Science, they are classic 80's movies that were highlights of the decade, truly. This rates number two, after Real Genius, for my favorite movie of the 80's.
